It’s the 25th. This month has flown by. Our youngest is in the marching band. Seth and I have volunteered at an invitational, and at all the home games. Other than that, nothing interesting has happened. It’s been peaceful, it’s been boring, and I’m not mad about it.

I haven’t sewn anything this month, but I did buy some fabric I plan to play around with. I painted the next page of my workbook. I also started a new knitting project. It’s called the Nomad Jacket. I’m working on the back panel and it’s taking forever. There’s no way I’ll finish it this month, and maybe not even next month. Either way, it’s not a race so I’m not in any hurry.

I’m still writing, while taking breaks for other things. One break was re-reading the fic I shared in 2024. The website it’s posted on sends daily notifications for likes and comments. For some reason, this fic has been getting popular recently. I read it for fun and truly enjoyed it.
In other news, last year the kittens chewed through the cords of our Christmas tree. This year we decided to avoid the risk and put up a Christmas cat tree instead. We already put it together and Mochi and Miso approve.

Tomorrow, I have the day off and plan to vote. The last day for voting for the midterms is Nov, 3rd. Your state, like mine, might offer early voting. Either way, whether early or on the 3rd, please vote.
Halloween is next weekend. We do a family themed costume every year. This post is going up before I’ll have this year’s picture so I’ll share the one from last year this month, and this year next month.

So, see you next month!
